Newsweek Ranks Bluewater Health 32nd in Canada
SARNIA & PETROLIA – March 13, 2023 – Bluewater Health has maintained its ranking in the world’s top hospitals of 2023, at 32nd in Canada.
The list, published by Newsweek and developed by Statista Inc. – a global market research and consumer data company – is available at newsweek.com/rankings/worlds-best-hospitals-2023. Bluewater Health has steadily climbed the rankings from 50th in 2019, to 38th in 2020 and 2021, and 32nd in 2022 and 2023.

The World’s Best Hospitals 2023 list ranked over 2,300 hospitals in 28 countries. The rankings were compiled based on hospital recommendations from peers, patient experience and medical performance indicators. This year, a fourth pillar was added to the scoring model: PROMs implementation status. PROMs are standardized, validated questionnaires completed by patients to measure their perception of their functional well-being and quality of life.
