Eating Disorders Outreach Program

The Bluewater Health Eating Disorder Outreach Program is the main community contact for individuals living in Lambton County who have eating disorder symptoms. The program is a member of the Ontario Community Outreach Program for Eating Disorders and is a shared-care program with London Health Sciences Centre.

The Eating Disorder Outreach Program Provides

  • Intake and assessment interviews with patients and families
  • Individual and family counseling
  • Referrals as needed to London Health Sciences Centre Child and Adolescent and Adult Eating Disorder Programs and other resources
  • Community education

Referrals can be made by individuals, physicians, and community and hospital care providers by calling the Eating Disorder Outreach Program Intake Social Worker at 519-464-4400 ext. 5217. 

The program is funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and is provided free of charge to patients.
